As a vibrant, boutique NFP located in Bankstown we focus on developing dynamic, resilient, confident and inclusive communities and families. We’ve been established since 1972, as we celebrate 50 years of operating, we continue to be innovative and diversify our services to meet the contextual needs of our community.
We’re embarking on an exciting period of change where we are investing heavily into our team members. A strong aim is to upskill and grow our people, ultimately retaining our team members through offering career development opportunities within our organisation.
Creating Links has implemented a Therapeutic Care Framework that has been designed to enable and support children, young people and their families in their healing journey. The Model of Practice has been implemented to guide clinical and operational casework processes that is responsive to the individual needs of children, young people, their families, and caregivers. We aim to achieve this by providing all children and young people within our service with a safe, positive and permanent care environment that, together with agency supports, will address the complex impact of trauma, abuse, neglect, separation and other forms of adversity. As we understand that early trauma and adversity in life, impact neurophysiological, cognitive, social, emotional and behavioural functioning.
Through investing in our workforce and having skilled team members we can achieve our ultimate goal of providing quality therapeutic services to assist children and young people to see their future self through sustainable connections that allow for integration, and positive interactivity, with their family structure, culture and communities
We’re proud to be different to other agencies, we like our current size and market stake hold as it allows us to truly focus on providing quality therapeutic services.

Supporting this new Executive Manager is a new head of People & Culture, who has experience in working within Richard Branson organisations. Therefore, this duo is working hard to ensure that our team reaps the benefits of an inclusive and innovative management style within a nurturing workplace culture.
We believe that our operations shouldn’t be solely compliance focused, we believe operating in a compliant way is a given. Therefore we want to make sure our operations have a truly positive impact on everyone, whether you be a team member, child in our care, carer or a member of community.
Working directly with children and youth in both general foster care and kinship care, providing high-quality supervision for visits with their birth family members.
We want to invest a lot into our Contact Workers, we see the potential this role has. Therefore, we want to allow our Contact Workers to become highly skilled and trained professionals that have the potential professionally grow into other opportunities with us.
A lot of our Contact Workers have significant and valuable contributions to managing our cases. This creates a professional journey opportunity for our contact workers to become case managers.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are strongly encouraged to apply.
At this point in time, we do not need support from agencies, therefore only welcome applications via this job platform.
