Primary Purpose of the Senior Community Facilitator:

A CREATE Senior Community Facilitator provides strong and supportive leadership and is responsible for coordinating the Alice Springs CREATE team to provide effective systems advocacy, and quality CREATE programs and services to children and young people with a care experience.

We are looking to recruit a Senior Community Facilitator to lead our Alice Springs team with experience in organising and running programs, supervising staff and building strong networks in the sector. This role should inspire connection, empowerment and change through fun and creative events and by providing leadership for children and young people in care.

Your energy, self motivation and task orientation will see you succeed in this challenging role. A confident communicator, you will be equally adept at presenting to groups as you are developing relationships with young people. Proven ability to develop strong inter-agency relationships and effective promotion and expansion of programs is essential. Under the direction of the State Coordinator for NT you will be responsible for providing a high level of support and supervision one team member, a Community Facilitator who will work alongside you in Alice Springs office in order for them to be able to function at a high level and deliver outcomes.

Our Alice Springs office has a fixed term Maternity leave cover contract available to the right candidate.
