About You

Are you passionate about assisting families who are experiencing crisis and hardship and who have loved ones involved in the criminal justice system? Do you work using trauma informed care and practice? Would you like a role that is challenging and rewarding? Do you want to work in a strong team that is valued and supported?

About the Role

The Family Worker will provide support and counselling to families of prisoners (with a focus on people living in the Canterbury-Bankstown LGA). The Family Worker will also provide support for the administration function of brokerage for travel to NSW correctional centres and oversee the development and delivery of training for external agencies. The position is based at CRC’s head office in Canterbury. The position is part time, generally Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm.


  • Earn $39.40 gross per hour plus super and generous salary packaging options
  • Contract to December 2022
  • Part time 45 hours per fortnight
  • Terms and Conditions of employment as per Level 4 Pay Point 4 of the SCHADS Award 2010
