CRANAplus is the Peak Professional Body for Health Professionals working in remote and isolated areas across Australia. We exist to ensure the deliv­ery of safe, high qual­i­ty pri­ma­ry health­care to remote and iso­lat­ed areas of Aus­tralia. We are an afford­able, grass­roots, not-for prof­it, mem­ber­ship based organisation that has pro­vid­ed nearly 40 years of edu­ca­tion, sup­port and pro­fes­sion­al ser­vices for the mul­ti-dis­ci­pli­nary remote health workforce.

Senior Psychologist

Responsible for the development and delivery of high-quality psychological interventions and supports to Health Professionals and their families, across Australia.

We are seeking an experienced Practitioner who has a passion to:

  • Provide counselling care and interventions through CRANAplus’ Bush Support Line
  • Grow clinical resources, materials, and workshops available to remote and rural Health Professionals to support their wellbeing and professional knowledge growth.
  • Contribute to new innovations, designs, and position CRANAplus as a specialist service

We are interested to learn of your knowledge in the following key areas:

  • Delivering counselling/psychological interventions across changing mediums (phone/ on-line)
  • Understanding of the key presentations and issues impacting our rural or remote communities
  • Considerations in working with a wide range of health professionals; the challenges faced when working within rural and remote community environments.
  • Delivery of workshops and presentations across a range of stakeholder groups

CRANAplus offers a competitive remuneration package of $128,068 with 5 weeks annual leave, qualifications recognition & professional development contributions, paid study leave, and full access to salary packaging entitlements as a NFP. 

There is a preference for full time hours, however CRANAplus invites part time enquiries.
