The Community and Public Sector Union/Civil Service Association (CPSU/CSA) is a union of members working to deliver public services in Western Australia. Our purpose is to develop the capacity and confidence of members to collectively build and maintain power in their workplaces. This position works within a Union environment and undertakes personnel tasks related to Union employees.
We are seeking a Part-Time (0.5) Human Resource Officer to provide support, advice and assistance to employees about conditions of employment in our Staff Enterprise Bargaining Agreement. Provide assistance and advice to senior managers about processes for recruitment, selection and appointment, contracts of employment and implementation of Union Policies. The successful applicant will also maintain organisational structures, job description forms and perform duties associated with right of entry for industrial staff. The HR Officer will maintain records manually and electronically.
The role requires well-developed verbal and written communication, organisational skills, knowledge of Federal and State Industrial Relations. Prior experience as human resources officer in the public sector or union movement would be highly regarded.
