The Public Service Association (PSA) is the principal trade union representing Public Sector workers in South Australia and is dedicated to pursuing the interests of its members through strong, effective leadership and community advocacy.

We are seeking a dynamic and flexible Receptionist/Customer Services Officer to join the Administration group of the PSA.

The primary function of this position is to provide reception services for the PSA front desk and administrative support to the Member Benefits Team to enable its efficient functioning on a day to day basis.

The role requires strong customer service skills and sound time management skills.

This is a full-time position based in the Adelaide CBD.

Commencement salary will be negotiated with the successful applicant.

What we are looking for:

  • Professional skills in telephone answering and distribution.
  • Demonstrated strong customer service skills with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of people.
  • Sound time management skills with the ability to plan and organise tasks, procedures and workflows and work with limited supervision.
  • Familiarity with basic office administration.
  • Experience in cash and stock handling and use of EFTPOS machines (desirable).
  • Ability to be a collaborative team player.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in dealing with sensitive data and personal information.
  • Capacity to learn new systems.
