The Cerebral Palsy Support Network (CPSN) is the Australian membership-based peak that represents individuals with cerebral palsy (and like conditions) and their families. What is a Customer Liaison Officer (CLO)?

A CLO connects people and empowers them to reach their goals!

We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a motivated and energetic person to join our unique Cerebral Palsy Innovative Choices (CPIC) Program, that empowers individuals and families to select and supervise their own support workers.

The CLO works with participants and support workers to achieve positive outcomes for everyone, this includes contributing to recruitment (matching workers and participants), support worker training, and participant programs.

As CLO, you will provide exceptional customer service, working with a portfolio of participants and support workers to;

  • Ensure the program is meeting the participants’ needs tailoring program outputs to meet participant needs
  • Build strong relationships with participants and their support workers to maintain positive engagement and to maximise their program
  • Support participants to monitor their funding allocation and budgets
  • Provide advice and guidance to participants about onboarding, training and developing Support Workers
  • Assist in support worker recruitment, compliance, induction and training
  • Ensure participants comply with safety policies and procedures and that any identified risks are managed
  • Maintain the accurate records, including CRM database management, files and reporting requirements

You will also have:

  • Experience and skills in delivering outstanding quality service and customer engagement
  • An understanding of the NDIS, disability sector and awareness of the challenges faced by individuals living with cerebral palsy/physical disability
  • Commitment and drive to deliver quality, human rights-based services in the community
  • High level interpersonal and communication skills
  • High computer literacy with strong database management skills
  • Demonstrated experience establishing, building and maintaining relationships
  • Strong people orientation and a respect for organisational values and culture

As this position requires travel to participants homes you will require a current driver’s licence and your own vehicle. You will be reimbursed for kilometres travelled.
