About the role

Reporting to the CEO, we have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for an experienced, highly motivated People and Culture Manager to provide leadership for the organisation’s people and culture strategies and their implementation. Specific areas include:

  • Design, construct and implement CPSN’s People and Culture Strategy to align Humans Resource policies, practices and programs to the organisation’s strategy and business direction.
  • Provide operational support and advice, partnering with managers across all aspects of the People and Culture function.
  • Developing and implementing best practices across the whole employee lifecycle.
  • Deliver compliance with all employer obligations, both legal and ethical.
  • Ensure People and Culture initiatives are engaging, collaborative in design and of a high standard to allow CPSN to attract, retain and build the capabilities of staff.
  • Facilitate and monitor the recruitment process across the organisation.
  • Create talent management and succession planning strategies for the organisation.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have;

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and extensive experience in a HR leadership role with both operational and strategic components.
  • Highly developed oral and written communication skills.
  • Previous experience working in a Not for Profit organisation would be highly advantageous.
  • Proven experience developing, implementing and monitoring programs, policy and process improvements.
  • A broad knowledge of and experience with a wide array of HR functions and practices including employment law, compensation, performance management, coaching and employee relations.
