We have an exciting career opportunity for a dynamic, proactive, passionate leader wanting to become a vital member of our organisation, by managing one of our Group homes in the Northern Beaches area.

We need the expertise of an experienced Disability Support Manager, who can lead a team to deliver this exceptional service to our clients in a group home setting. Does this sound like you?

About the role

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader to join our team as House Manager.
  • The role is varied, rewarding and challenging with responsibility for the complete management of the service. This includes quality service management of our clients, staff management, liaising with families, budget management, incident reporting, all NDIS related matters, rostering, etc.
  • You will be required to lead, support, supervise and mentor a team of disability support workers.
  • Our accommodation services are person-centred and support residents to fully participate in the running of their home and to have choice and control in their living options. Your core values will reflect this philosophy.
  • Our commitment to attracting the highest calibre staff is reflective in the salary package, which has recently been increased to $111,000.00 pa (Total Remuneration Package).

Must have…

To ensure exceptional service delivery, it is essential that you meet all of the following criteria:

  • Previous experience managing a 24 hour Group Home, including managing service delivery within disability services or human services
  • Strong team leadership experience, including recruiting, on boarding, training, mentoring and performance management of staff
  • Demonstrated experience in managing budgets and cost effective rostering practices
  • Sound communication and customer service skills, where you will have past experience liaising with key stakeholders including families and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Well-developed conflict resolution and highly enhanced negotiation skills
  • Be creative by nature, where problem solving and thinking outside the square comes easily to you
  • Unrestricted NSW Driver's License
  • Current WWCC or willingness to obtain prior to commencement in the role
