We are recruiting a Digital Storytelling and Engagement Manager to be part of our growing Digital Fundraising team and deliver exceptional experiences to Cerebral Palsy Alliance's (CPA) donors. You will work as part of our Award-winning Fundraising team alongside top fundraising talent.

About the role:

CPA's Digital Fundraising Team has 5 highly skilled and Award winning digital experts in Supporter Experience, Content & Community, Platforms & Integrations, Senior Digital Strategy & Head of Fundraising. The team operates in a cross-functional model across all areas of Fundraising being responsible for all digital deliverables. The team is driven by a digital-first and data-led mindset, having collaboration, innovation and support-centricity at the core of what we do. In 2020, the Digital Team was integral to the success of the STEPtember campaign in raising nearly $11M.

The Digital Storytelling & Engagement Manager will drive remarkable digital experiences to CPA's supporters - with a focus on retention and engagement. Our donors are hundreds of thousands of true visionaries, who support thousands of children and adults living with disabilities each year, and fund the greatest minds in cerebral palsy research around the world. Thanks to the incredible generosity of people like CPA donors, toddlers living with cerebral palsy were able to speak for the first time, children living with disabilities could walk unassisted through their school gates for the first time, the incidence of cerebral palsy declined by 20% in the past 10 years - and SO much more.

As the Digital Storytelling & Engagement Manager, you will have the opportunity to create a meaningful impact to donors in Australian and around the world. This is a unique role with exceptional opportunities for local and global impact.

Your Scope:

  • Workshop ideas for the development of lasting and remarkable supporter’s journeys.
  • Plan and create digital content, aligned with higher-level objectives, across our entire Fundraising portfolio to more than 1M donors.
  • Be an integral part of the STEPtember campaign team on the development of supporter journeys and copywriting.
  • Create remarkable content with copy, video, photos and more with the mindset of analytics and detailed tracked performance for optimisation and reporting.
  • 'Colab' with & learn from top-fundraising-talent across our department in areas such as Regular Giving, Appeals, Gifts in Wills, P2P, Gala Events, Community Fundraising, Major Donors and Planned Giving.
  • Apply best principles of data and analytics that will allow you to make the best possible informed decisions for your supporter journeys and towards retention growth.
  • Learn and think-tank ways to use technology to drive personalised and more efficient experiences to donors.
  • Innovation is a vital pillar of your scope. You will be given the opportunity to test your ideas and drive change.
