About the role

The Database Coordinator plays a pivotal role in CPA's Fundraising team, supporting the acquisition and retention of CPA's incredible donors. Sitting within the Individual Giving team and reporting to the Database Manager, this role is responsible for managing day-to-day tasks and activities relating to CPA's ThankQ CRM in order to support the implementation of programs across the fundraising team, ensuring data integrity and accuracy at all times. The role also supports the evaluation and implementation of CRM upgrades and enhancements, ensuring the Fundraising team are utilising the CRM to its maximum potential.

This role is a full-time position and is located at our head office in Allambie Heights.

You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting data management and integrity across CPA's ThankQ CRM and platform integrations.
  • Supporting the evaluation, scope, and implementation of new system enhancements including automation and platform integrations.
  • Providing accurate and timely reports to support fundraising and marketing activities.
  • Championing the use of the CRM across the fundraising team by delivering training and support as required in conjunction with the Database Manager and CPA's CRM provider.
  • Creating contact lists of targeted donors and supporters as required to support income generation and retention activities.
  • Managing CPA's regular giving payment and retry process.
  • Managing data imports across multiple 3rd party suppliers, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Technical implementation of best practice donor/supporter journeys.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders including the Acquisition and Retention Teams, Donor Support teams, Philanthropy team and Volunteers team to ensure data capture and export forms part of the strategy before campaign execution.

We seek a self-motivated individual with:

  • At least 2 years' experience in using ThankQ CRM or similar NFP databases (Raiser Edge, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce) would be highly regarded.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Highly developed Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong time management skills with proven ability to comply with strict deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and numeracy skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in a non-technical manner.
  • Experience working in a not-for-profit or philanthropic organisation would be highly regarded.
  • Team player with a "can do" attitude.
