About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experience Physiotherapist to join a growing, passionate and innovative team of clinical leaders who support the development and implementation of evidence-based services for people with disabilities. Cerebral Palsy Alliance currently provides services and support types to meet the needs of adults and children with disabilities, across a range of settings in a holistic and integrated manner.

Your role as Clinical Consultant for Physiotherapy will involve leading reviews and critical appraisals of practice to provide clinical practice improvements and guidelines to practitioners, lead and influence the direction of change within clinical practice, ensure performance measures and accountabilities are utilised effectively in teams, provide leadership and expertise in complex programs and undertake projects requiring a superior level of expert knowledge and experience.

This role is a permanent, full time position, sitting within CPA's Practice Leadership and Clinical Governance division and provides support organisation-wide. It can be based out of one of our many metro sites across Sydney, with frequent travel to head office, as well as other CPA sites.

What will you bring to the role?

  • Relevant degree with seven or more years' experience
  • Current membership with AHPRA
  • Demonstrated skills across all aspects of evidence-based practice and the management of complex clients
  • Strong skills in leadership, negotiation and conflict resolution
  • Ability to motivate others
  • Strong skills in project and people management
  • An excellent understanding of the rights of people with disability
  • Current driver's licence
  • The ability to travel within the Sydney Metropolitan, Regional NSW and ACT as required
