The County Court of Victoria is the principal trial court in the State of Victoria. The Court hears over 11,000 criminal, common law and commercial cases each year. The County Court has unlimited monetary jurisdiction in common law and commercial matters. In its criminal jurisdiction, the Court hears all indictable offences except treason, murder and related offences.
This role provides advanced case management support to people on bail or deferral of sentencing with a range of complex needs who are participating in the Court Integrated Services Program, with a focus on supporting high risk clients. It also provides practice leadership and mentoring to other frontline staff.
This role will be responsible for contributing to quality assurance, service excellence and monitoring and evaluation activities to ensure the successful delivery of a CISP pilot for the County Court.
To be successful in this role you will have extensive demonstrated experience in the case management of clients with complex needs together with counselling experience with AOD clients.
