An opportunity exists to join Corrugated Iron Youth Arts in a strategic leadership role. Supported by an engaged team including the General Manager, Board of Management and young leaders, the Corrugated Iron Champions, the Executive Producer:

  • Leads the development and implementation of the artistic vision,
  • Listens to, and acts on, the voice of young people,
  • Activates a positive workplace culture, and
  • Drives a flagship youth arts company with a 300,000 square kilometre geographic reach.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join our leadership team as Executive Producer. Applicants will have strong alignment with Corrugated Iron’s values and be ready for a full time challenging and rewarding role involving partnerships, governance, and advocacy.

We seek a dynamic individual with experience in sector collaborations to continue our strong partnership work at executive levels with arts, youth, education, community and government sectors. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated advocacy skills, and understand the value of having young people and communities at the heart of decision making. Strong communication skills are essential, and experience in complex service delivery environments is advantageous.

You will have strong alignment with Corrugated Iron’s values and be ready for a challenging and rewarding role involving partnerships, governance, and advocacy. You will have extensive management experience including leadership, planning, securing resources, sector advocacy and partnership investment.

Your demonstrable capabilities will include:

Essential

  • High level strategic planning
  • Demonstrated leadership in complex environments including cross-cultural environments
  • Experience in brokering partnerships with a range of stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate with influence and diplomacy
  • Ability to manage teams in a collaborative and inclusive environment
  • Financial literacy including managing budgets
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate on the planning and delivery of projects

Desirable

  • An understanding of compliance and risk management
  • Knowledge and understanding of the arts sector, in particular, the youth arts sector
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Northern Territory context or willingness to learn
