Use your experience to assist within the Cooktown and smaller nearby Indigenous communities of Hope Vale and Wujal Wujal.
Provide counselling, support, needs assessment, case management, advocacy, information and referral, to perpetrators of domestic and family violence.
Maintain and develop domestic and family violence community education strategies.
Maintain and develop links and networks with other organisations to provide integrated responses, effective services and improved coordination.
Prepare and maintain appropriate, accurate and confidential records of client work.
Complete CDCC administrative procedures and documentation – monthly reports/statistics, attend staff meetings, participate in appropriate professional supervision and development programs.
Work as a member of a team.
Undertake other duties as directed by the CEO or management committee.
