Introduction to MS:

Multiple Sclerosis Limited (MS) is a Not for Profit organisation, and a leading source of information, advice and services for individuals living with MS. The main focus of the organisation is to help minimise the impact of multiple sclerosis on individual lives and provide ongoing support to ensure their journey is not undertaken alone.

The Role:

We are recruiting for a very exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Fundraising Coordinator to work within a great team who are passionate and focused on achieving strong results to support the ongoing needs of people living with MS. The purpose of this role is to deliver MSL’s community fundraising program via our Do It For MS campaign and create sustainable growth across campaigns and programs.

Your Responsibilities:

Your key responsibilities in this role will be to implement and develop community fundraising plans to achieve revenue targets, relationship development and the management of community fundraisers to ensure a quality supporter experience and the generation of and management of data to maintain integrity and report on insights/trends in performance.

In addition, you will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Delivering fundraising plans in conjunction with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop community fundraiser relationship management plans and work with supporter engagement team to implement.
  • Review and evaluate execution of plans, providing regular tracking of active fundraisers and fundraising income.
  • Coordinate and manage online fundraising platform for allocated campaigns including set up of registration forms and fundraising page functionality (Funraisin)
  • Manage and keep up to date the customer relationship management database (Salesforce).

Your Capabilities:

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who has:

  • 5 years + experience in relationship focused, peer-to-peer and/or community fundraising coordinator role.
  • Experience in working on fundraising events and campaigns preferably obtained in community sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to liaise with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with customer relationship management systems, Salesforce is desirable.
  • The ability to analyse problems and deliver data-driven solutions for fundraising campaigns.
  • Experience in project management and/or account management
  • Flexible - can work flexible hours and some weekends.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Your Qualifications:

You will need to have a tertiary qualification in Fundraising, Marketing, Communications, Business, or similar and relevant work experience in a similar role.

If successful, you will need to:

  • Complete a National Police Check and hold a current Working With Children Check.
