NDIS Support Coordinator - Rockhampton

Within this permanent full time position you will be required to work closely with the Specialist Supports Team Leader, and the internal network of Support Coordinators in various NDIS locations. This is a crucial position which will include the organisation of specialist care in accordance with the NDIA guidelines. The role will involve assisting clients in addressing barriers and reducing complexity in the support environment and focusing on the facilitation of the achievement of customer goals whilst developing and maintaining positive relationships with relevant stakeholders.

About You

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the NDIS and what it means for customers and organisations
  • Demonstrated time management skills to effectively manage workload and meet deadlines
  • High level of interpersonal skills including the ability to develop and maintain relationships within a team, with customers, across service providers, and with various stakeholders
  • Australian Driver’s Licence and own vehicle
  • High level of problem solving skills, to successfully identify problems, develop solutions, and implement these using a logical and systematic approach
  • Experience working with people with disability and their families
  • Demonstrated competence in general computer applications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to ensure communication is aligned to the audience
  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications in: Social Work, disability or other relevant fields
