Brisbane Emergency Response Outreach Service (BEROS) works with young people 12-18 years who are in the care of child safety and are self-placing. BEROS works alongside Child Safety and other key stakeholders to support young people to re-engage in placements and their relationship with Child safety- whilst also supporting young people to link in with other support agencies to achieve their goals.

BEROS operates as a 24/7 service:

• Monday to Friday (9am-5pm) outreach case management team
• Monday- Sunday (6pm-midnight) BEROS street to home team
• Overnight support for up to 2 nights

BEROS is seeking highly-skilled Overnight Support Workers to provide support to young people (12-18 years) in the care of child safety who are accessing BEROS overnight support services in the Sunshine Coast Region.

Tasks include:

• Being available for on-call or rostered overnight shifts
• Providing support to young people in the care of child safety (12-18 years) who are accessing BEROS overnight support for a maximum of 2 nights.

Degree/studying Social Work or Human Services preferred. This role is perfect for Social Work students or students studying in this sector.
