Job Share Arrangement
3 month on/3 month off Roster
Community Focus National (CFN) is A Not for Profit Indigenous Organisation delivering government and non-government services to Kalumburu Community. We have the contract to manage the Women’s Centre and Crisis Accommodation at Kalumburu, Kimberley Region, Western Australia.
The Service consists of two aspects: provision of safe, emergency accommodation for women and accompanying children escaping family and domestic violence, and, provision of a range of activities.
The activities will include education both formal and informal around family and domestic violence, activities to address the harmful effects of family and domestic violence incorporating physical, social, emotional, cultural and spiritual wellbeing needs, and, recreational and diversional activities for young people at risk.
We are looking for an individual who is willing to enter into a job share arrangement with our current Coordinator on a 3 month on, 3 months off roster (a variance on this arrangement can be discussed)
We are looking for an experienced individual who has demonstrated experience developing and managing community focused programs and has (or can easily obtain) a sound understanding of domestic violence framework and protocols. This is a high-level position within our organisation and applicants must be able to demonstrate a sound understanding of management principles and have a track record of successfully developing and managing community based, client focused programs or services and be able to work autonomously.

Travel to and from Kalumburu from either Darwin or Kununurra will be provided. Flexible working arrangements can be discussed with the right candidate.
