We are seeking a senior health care leader to join the Calvary team in the role of General Manager, for Calvary Central Districts Hospital. Located in Elizabeth Vale in Adelaide’s northern suburbs, Calvary Central Districts is conveniently positioned between Adelaide’s CBD and the picturesque Barossa Valley, where you can experience South Australia’s famous wine region first-hand.
It’s an exciting time for Calvary Central Districts, with development underway for our new hospital, due for completion in 2027 and co-located with Lyell McEwin Hospital. As General Manager, you will work closely with the project team on the development, while continuing to lead and manage Central Districts.
Reporting to the Regional CEO, you will play a key role alongside the region’s senior leaders to continue the integration of Calvary South Australia’s services and achieve our vision to be recognised as a continuing source of healing, hope and nurturing to the people and the communities we serve.
You will bring to the role significant experience in strategic and operational management in an acute health care facility or tertiary health service, with strong financial management, business acumen, and stakeholder engagement.
A strong people leader who fosters and develops an engaged workforce and positive culture, you are an innovative thinker with a continuous improvement mindset, and a focus on growth and sustainability.
