Senior NDIS Support Workers x2 - Senior Recreation Officer

Due to internal promotion, two full-time Senior NDIS Support Worker (Senior Recreation Officer) positions have become available for the right people who have experience in a similar role or leading small teams in recreation/day programs.

Choices® CBS programs are seeking energetic staff to join our dynamic team. You will work predominantly with our Coastal Choices programs providing high support to adults with a disability including people who have complex needs. You must be reliable, motivated, demonstrate a high level of initiative and model the values and attitudes consistent with the Community Bridging Services (CBS) Inc. philosophy. This is a predominately ‘hands-on’ role and personal care will be involved.

You will Require:

  • Energy and a sense of humour
  • A genuine interest in working with people with disability
  • Experience in support work (essential)
  • Experience in program development, delivery and review
  • Empathetic and caring attitude to people with a disability
  • Proactive self-starter with good decision making
  • Able to maintain privacy, confidentiality and dignity of clients
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to write case notes, service agreements and other NDIS administrative requirements with training provided as necessary
  • Administration and computer skills
  • Certificate III in related area or higher ​
  • Current full driver's licence
  • Working with Children's Check and Disability Screening
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Current Manual Handling Certificate
