About this role

This role is primarily about providing supervision and managing a suite of services together with a small case load of fee paying NDIS participants.

The Mental Health Program Manager is required to provide efficient, high quality and comprehensive adult psychological services including assessment, diagnosis and individual and group interventions for clients of the Mental Health, NDIS and AOD Services of Communify.

It is intended that the Mental Health Program Manager provides strong and senior leadership to the service team leaders and their subordinates within the scope of Mental Health, NDIS and AOD, while reporting directly to the CEO.

Skills, experience and qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in Mental Health and / or relevant field
  • Demonstrated extensive experience within the field of adult mental health
  • Demonstrated team leadership and highly developed management skills including supervision and all aspects of team management including performance management, induction, recruitment and training
  • Recent relevant experience in a mental health community setting
  • Sound knowledge of the NDIS including relevant legislation and regulations 
  • Sound knowledge of the relevant legislation and regulations related to the delivery of mental health services, including AOD
