Consumers of Mental Health WA (CoMHWA) is the peak body for consumers of mental health services in WA. As a community based not for profit organisation, CoMHWA understands, listens and acts upon the voice of consumers of mental health and the wider community.
CoMHWA’s Systemic Advocate will lead effective advocacy systems that influence outcomes for people with lived experience of mental health issues, and to build networks, peer support and opportunities to progress CoMHWA’s strategic plan. The successful candidate will be effective in coordinating strategic stakeholder collaboration, engagement and research to progress informed and effective policy responses, as well as collaborate with colleagues to identify current and emerging issues within the mental health sector.
This is a permanent, part-time position – 60 hours per fortnight. Negotiable working arrangements for preferred candidate. Immediate start.
