Co-Ground Coffee is a social enterprise coffee cart service that offers specialty coffee made by skilled baristas for events and functions. Our coffee carts are mobile and bookings range from public promotions, office-based functions, weddings, conferences and large-scale events.

We work with industry leaders Five Senses Coffee and La Marzocco who support our team to provide high quality coffee service with 100% of the profits made through sales supporting Co-Ground community projects.

We are seeking a skilled sales and marketing professional to join our growing team and help us take Co-Ground Coffee to the next level.

Co-Ground is a registered Not-For-Profit organisation and sole owner of Co-Ground Coffee. Co-Ground supports community-driven education, health and livelihood projects in the Asia-Pacific while building community around social enterprise here in Australia.

The Opportunity

Potential to earn a highly competitive salary (base plus bonus) and directly contribute to scaling a Melbourne-based social enterprise. The position involves generating new business and increasing sales revenue of Co-Ground Coffee cart services. Every successful booking supports our community education, health and livelihood projects in the Asia-Pacific.

The successful applicant will have a proven track record in the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies. You will play a key role within a Melbourne based Not-For-Profit and work within a vibrant staff and volunteer team to engage new audiences across Melbourne through speciality coffee service.

  • Self motivated and passionate about about driving new business
  • At least 4 years business to business sales and marketing experience and a proven track record of implementing successful sales growth; achieving monthly sales targets, converting inbound leads and enquiries, identifying and converting targeted outbound targets and creating sustainable collaborative relationships
  • Polished written and verbal communication skills
  • An interest in supporting a social enterprise to reach its full potential
  • Passionate about supporting empowered communities and changing lives through improving education, health and livelihoods.
  • Well organised and able to keep to sales targets
  • Comfortable problem solving and working collaboratively with staff and stakeholders
  • Able to form genuine relationships with our clients and positively represent our brand and organisation
  • Be confident in identifying future opportunities for Co-Ground Coffee
  • Comfortable promoting Co-Ground’s brand through social media and online channels
  • Positively represent our organisation, communities, projects and the social enterprise sector
  • Able to commit a minimum of 3 days (24 hours) per week for a minimum of 12 month
