We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, motivated and outcome focussed person to join our Active and Healthy Lifestyles Unit to play a key role in the facilitation of strategic planning and policy development, with a focus on organised sport and active recreation.

The ability to analyse complex and significant health, wellbeing, recreation and open space trends and issues is essential, along with a track record of developing effective and collaborative partnerships with a range of key stakeholders.

You will have experience and skills in in strategic and/or recreation planning and policy development, project management, community engagement and collaborative planning processes.

If you hold tertiary qualifications with some relevant experience or substantial relevant experience in public health, community development, recreation, planning, policy development or a similar discipline, with local government experience being desirable, we welcome your application.

A satisfactory police records check and/or Working with Children Check is required for this position.
