Our new Team Assistant will ensure efficient management of our yearly schedule of meetings, keeping our CRM up-to-date, assisting with the technical execution of our virtual meetings and events and other tasks to support the smooth operation of our organisation working towards advancing gender equality in workplaces across Australia.
About the role
The Digital Communications Manager will be responsible for planning and executing marketing programs for our organisation, supporting the brand, promotion and reach of our work and building high-quality leads for membership.
This role requires a dynamic marketing professional who is proficient in B2B marketing, can execute end-to-end and can demonstrate the currency of their skillset including using generative AI to optimise and enhance marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to generate exposure and reach for our work.
- Build and maintain the marketing infrastructure of the organisation including new website and CMS, CRM integrations and Canva and other programs as required.
- Understand and enhance the Member (customer) lifecycle and assist with promoting our Coalition, member organisations and industries we work with.
- Design multi-channel campaigns to ensure awareness and reach of our work within the current membership and to potential new Members.
- Build engagement, followership, and support for our work through strategic content and interactions.
- Develop a strong pipeline of marketing-qualified leads.
- Develop and maintain key external and internal communication materials, ensuring they are current and in line with the agreed strategy and key messages.
- Develop our own social media and provide support for our member’s social media to amplify impact
- Develop and deliver the Communications Coalition-wide content plan, in addition to group-specific programs of work.
- Develop and deliver campaign and channel reports to measure performance and gain insights into various communication initiatives.
What we are looking for
We’re looking for a hands-on marketing communications professional. You’ll have big ideas, a keen eye for new opportunities and most importantly the ability to execute campaigns, content and plans yourself. The following qualifications/skills will be highly regarded in applications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in a membership organisation.
- Proven track record of successful lead generation and marketing campaign management.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including SEO, social media, email marketing, and content management systems.
- Canva and/or Design Skills (Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop) a bonus
- Experience with generative AI tools and techniques for marketing purposes.
- Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to create compelling content.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with marketing analytics tools.
- Creative, innovative, and able to think strategically and tactically.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
