About the role

We are seeking a passionate speech pathologist to join our multi-disciplinary paediatrics team. Based in Woodend you will provide services to children mainly in the 2-7 year age group through on site and telehealth appointments. You will be working collaboratively with other Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, ECIS Practitioners, Paediatrician and participate in neuro-developmental assessment clinics.

About you

Key to your success, and the key selection criteria for this role, is your:

  • Ability to develop, implement and evaluate Speech Pathology specific treatment programs for children and young people with diverse abilities, including those with complex conditions.
  • Excellent professional, interpersonal and interaction skills, together with the ability to engage with and motivate children of different ages and their families.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary or transdisciplinary team.
  • Excellent time management and prioritising skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders.

Your qualifications are:

  • Bachelor Degree in Speech Pathology as a minimum
  • Full or provisional Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist, a member of SPA and participant in SPA's professional self-regulation program.
