The Centre for Non-Violence (CNV) is a leading and innovative specialist Family Violence organisation based in the Loddon area, with a vision of gender and social equality for all. CNV is an inclusive child safe organisation, committed to achieving diversity in our service response and workforce.

We currently have a number of outstanding opportunities for well-experienced and passionate Team Leaders to join our Client Services Team at CNV and work within the Bendigo Orange Door site.

These full-time roles include:

  • Specialist family violence services for adult, young people and children who are victims of family violence, or
  • Men’s Family Violence Services team.

Teams in the Orange Door will be multi-disciplinary; the role of the Team Leader will be to provide the day to day oversight and work allocation for one of these multidisciplinary teams whilst also providing specialist family violence supervision for the CNV staff located at the Orange Door.

To be considered for these positions you will have:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in social work, psychology, community services and/or a related human services field. A Social Work degree is highly desirable.
  • Extensive experience in supervising, leading and mentoring staff in a community services field with demonstrated experience to problem solve, encourage and influence change within a team and the ability to lead, motivate, develop and mentor staff.
  • At least two years’ experience in a family violence or related role.
  • Broad knowledge and understanding of family violence and child safety and wellbeing in accordance with service philosophies.
  • Extensive experience in providing casework to individuals and/or families experiencing complex needs and risk issues including a sound knowledge of referral pathways.
