The Finance and Administrative Assistant has responsibility for the following activities and delivery of the following key tasks:
Data entry in MYOB, under direction of the Financial Accountant
- Accurate processing and payment of creditors, including client brokerage payments.
- Recording bank and credit card transactions.
- Accurate processing and payment of fortnightly payroll.
Assist the Financial Accountant with other Finance functions as required
- Assist with preparation of bank reconciliations and credit card acquittals.
- Assist with monthly payments of superannuation, BAS/IAS to the ATO, and quarterly Portable Long Service Leave Levies.
- Assist with ad hoc queries from staff, creditors and debtors.
Administration
- Banking of cheques and cash received.
- Filing and general administrative tasks within Finance.
- Assist the Financial Accountant with preparation of documentation for annual audits as required.
Quality assurance
- Assist the Financial Accountant with preparation for Quality Assurance reviews as required
- Assist the Financial Accountant with system and process improvement and documentation as required.
