About the role:

Car Next Door is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to improve the performance of, and successfully execute, all marketing channels external to the Car Next Door product and messaging platforms. You will be responsible for creating awareness for Car Next Door in the appropriate market segments, and finding the best channels to drive traffic, leads, new members, and supply growth that will work hand in hand with our company objectives.

This is a great opportunity for someone with solid digital marketing experience to grow their own function and will be immediately involved in hiring resources to build out the team. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you’ll be responsible for the success of our marketing channels, ensuring we are getting the most out of our marketing efforts.

This is a full-time role, working remotely from anywhere in Australia. As a remote worker, we require you to have a strong internet connection, with appropriate technology (computer and headset). Car Next Door has operated a remote team for many years with fairly established processes, practices, and tools to make you and the team successful.

What you will be doing?

  • Responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Car Next Door’s Marketing strategies and processes.
  • Channel responsibilities include (but are not exclusive to): Referral, SEM, SEO, Content Marketing, Conversion rate optimisation, Facebook advertising, and social media, Offline advertising/marketing e.g. flyering, festivals, signage on cars, and affiliates and partnerships
  • Creation of clear leads goals based on the company’s budget or strategic objectives, and implementing initiatives to achieve those.
  • Regularly analysing channel and customer data to identify opportunities for growth, or areas for improvement.
  • Working closely with the Messaging and Product team to improve the conversion rates through the funnel.
  • Regular channel performance reporting and presentation of key data, learnings, and conclusions to management.
  • Managing the marketing budget

What you’ll bring:

  • 5+ years experience in a similar role, implementing and executing Digital Marketing strategies and objectives
  • Experience driving online advertising and marketing, SEO, and digital marketing.
  • Very strong English verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven experience in managing paid marketing channels
  • Experience managing Google Ads/Facebook Ads
  • Experience writing ad copy
  • High level of competency in tracking and reporting on marketing performance
  • Experience in testing, and data analysis
  • Strong ability to build supplier relationships
