Children’s Medical Research Institute (CMRI) was Australia’s first dedicated paediatric research facility and is now one of the world’s most highly regarded independent medical research centres. Our research focuses on the areas of embryonic development and birth defects, cancer, neuroscience and gene therapy and we have a strong international reputation based on our research outcomes. It is also home to the world-first proteomics project, ProCan, which is changing the way cancer is diagnosed and treated. The successful applicant for this full-time position will report to the Head of Marketing and Communications. It is essential the applicant has high level written communication skills and experience with digital marketing strategy and execution. Extensive knowledge of social media channels is required, as is experience with website CRMs and Google Analytics. Marketing automation and email marketing experience are desirable. Above all, creative thinking, the ability to work in a dynamic and highly collaborative team, a desire to learn and grow with the changing digital landscape, and strong self-motivation are essential.
