about the role

The Junior Accreditation Officer is an important part of the Installation Integrity administration team that supports key operating processes for accredited solar designers and installers. We are looking for someone with 1 to 2 years’ customer service experience and administrative skills, who wants to be part of a passionate and supportive team in a values-based organisation.

Key objectives of the Junior Accreditation Officer role are:

  • Responding to queries (phone and email) from accredited designers and installers and coordinate appropriate verbal or written responses.
  • Perform administrative functions related to processing of applications, upgrades, deferral requests and renewals received under CEC's accreditation scheme, including data entry into Salesforce CRM.
  • Managing the general installer email inbox, including liaising with other departments, external agencies or by providing direct responses.
  • Continuous improvement and development of systems and processes.
  • Provide general support and assistance to the other members of the team and undertake administrative tasks to ensure the team continues to function effectively.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • 1 to 2 years’ of demonstrated knowledge and experience in administrative and customer service based roles (industry experience would be an advantage)
  • Ability to communicate clearly (both written and verbal forms) with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to learn quickly and understand processes and adapt to a changing work environment
  • Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proven ability to handle complex client interactions
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, determine priorities and organise work to meet priorities
  • Demonstrated initiative and self-motivation
  • VCE or equivalent
