The Clean Energy Council is the peak body for the clean energy industry in Australia.

We are a not-for-profit, membership-based organisation. We represent and work with Australia's leading renewable energy and energy storage businesses, as well as rooftop solar installers and retailers, to further the development of clean energy in Australia.

We stand up for the clean energy sector and work with local, state and federal governments to solve the technical, political and financial challenges faced by our industry. We deliver a wide range of services to our members, installers, retailers and the broader clean energy industry with the aim of growing the sector in the interests of all Australians. We also promote awareness of the industry, thought leadership and clean energy business opportunities through industry events, meetings, newsletters, directorates and the media.

We are looking for a Code of Conduct Coordinator to join our dynamic team!  This role would suit a Postgraduate that is looking for an opportunity to start their career and play a pivotal role in the Clean Energy Industry.

The key objective of the Code of Conduct Coordinator is to work with all members of the team to provide ongoing support to the operations and development of the CEC’s Approved Solar Retailer Code of Conduct. The role’s primary focus and responsibility is to assess new applications and renewals.

Key objectives of the Code of Conduct Coordinator role are:

  • Applications and renewals - manage the assessment and renewal process for Code of Conduct applicants. This includes reviewing sales documentation and corresponding with applicants throughout the process.
  • Systems and processes - maintain customer records on the CRM database and continue to review and develop systems, processes and documentation.
  • Communications, promotion and reporting - support senior staff to develop effective communications and engage with stakeholders in a timely and effective way, including internal staff, Code signatories, Code Review Panel, and the industry and public more broadly.
  • Team support - provide general support to the Industry Integrity Team as time allows.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant area
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • 1+ years' experience in a customer service and/or administrative role
  • Ability to quickly learn new processes and adapt to a changing work environment
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
  • Strong time management skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management, professional and polite
  • Good IT skills - Microsoft Office and Salesforce CRM (or similar) an advantage
  • Understanding of the solar/renewable energy industry an advantage
