  • Advocate for systemic change and strive to influence government policy and legislation
  • Permanent part-time (28 hours per week)
  • Competitive salary: $82,972 - $85,480 per annum ($103,716 - $106,851 per annum pro-rata to 0.8FTE) + salary packaging + above-award leave provisions
  • Work with a small, experienced team advocating for progressive law reform and access to justice in NSW

About the Policy & Advocacy Manager role

This role will draw on the experiences of community legal centres and their clients to develop and coordinate systemic advocacy and law reform strategies and activities. No two days will be the same. Your work will be diverse and collaborative. You will coordinate and undertake research for law reform and policy submissions, deliver training to the community legal sector, meet with Members of Parliament, work with journalists to tell high-impact stories and amplify our community’s experiences, identify solutions to inequality and injustice, and much more.
