About the Role

Based in Caringbah (Sutherland Shire) the Operations Manager works alongside key stakeholders to effectively execute best practices throughout their service group and lead general operations. This includes a portfolio of employment options for people with disability in warehousing, administration, hospitality and other duties.

Reporting to and supported by the General Manager (Industries), as Operations Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Partnering with the Civic leadership team to deliver strategic and operational goals.
  • Partnering with other Civic teams to implement best practice approaches in rostering, payroll management and employee support services.
  • Developing and embedding a robust training and development plan to ensure employees develop skills and progress career plans.
  • Empowering and coaching your team to manage outcomes for supported employees.
  • Identifying and mitigating operational risks.
  • Building and maintaining partnerships with a range of stakeholders.

About You

We are looking for candidates who exhibit the following:

  • Innovative and inspiring leadership experience in a mid to senior role in human services and with responsibility for delivering outcomes for clients and employees.
  • Demonstrated organisational and project management skills, with an attention to detail and ability to translate and implement complex legislative requirements into practice.
  • Collaborative approach in driving operational plans alongside peers.
  • Experience mentoring staff to review and build best practice service delivery and optimise client outcomes.
  • Strong networking skills with community stakeholders.
