Yarra Children's Services delivers a broad range of service types including long day care, 3 & 4 year old kindergarten, Outside School Hours Care, occasional care and casual care. Connie Benn Early Learning Centre is in a hub located adjacent to the Atherton Gardens Estate. Other services located in the hub include Maternal Child Health, Playgroups, Occasional Care, family and community programs and Brotherhood of St. Laurence. Connie Benn ELC is spread across 8 rooms and is licensed for 109 children, including 32 sessional kindergarten places, 61 long day care places and 16 occasional care places.
The pedagogy and practice at Connie Benn is based in the values of inclusion, environmental sustainability and meeting the individual needs of children and families.
