About the role

The Maternal & Child Health (MCH) Team Leader will coordinate and plan day to day delivery of high quality Maternal and Child Health Services for the City of Casey.

You will contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of policies, service levels and standards for the delivery of family services.

In this role you will:

  • Provide regular and on-going support, training, advice and clinical supervision for MCH staff in order to achieve individual, departmental and corporate objectives.
  • Plan and coordinate the delivery of a range of high quality MCH Services for the City of Casey and promote an integrated approach to the delivery of early year’s services across the business.
  • Contribute to the development of policies relating to MCH Services including planning and accountability processes for staff
  • Liaise with community agencies as appropriate and undertake outreach assessment of families where necessary

About you

  • You will have tertiary qualifications in Maternal and Child Health nursing and registration with APHRA
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, train and motivate staff with an emphasis on team building.
  • Proven ability to develop partnerships and business opportunities to enhance the development of services
  • Hold a valid driver’s licence

Salary: starts at $117,202.68 per annum, plus superannuation (Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Team Leader)
