Chiropractic Australia is a national established membership not-for-profit, member-based organisation established to promote safe, ethical and effective chiropractic care and to provide high quality vocational and political advocacy for its members.

The Professional Development Coordinator is responsible for managing and growing Chiropractic Australia's suite of training courses, events, online professional development activities and programs.

This is a hands-on role encompassing all aspects of planning and developing a relevant professional development program to cater for lifelong learning needs of members. This includes, undertaking training needs analysis, working with SME's, Education Committee, the Executive and relevant stakeholders to develop content and update existing material; course design; evaluating alternative CPD delivery models; developing and delivering a professional development strategy for short courses, developing and growing the online training offering; course scheduling; developing and maintaining budgets; facilitator selection; mapping course competencies; developing course briefs and marketing material with the Marketing & Communications Manager; contract management with facilitators and associated fulfilment providers; answering course enquiries and undertaking associated administrative tasks. This role will have a facilitating role of being secretariat to the committees, including minute taking, agenda setting and preparation of documents and papers.

This position will be a hands-on role, working as part of a small dynamic team, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer.

This role provides an excellent opportunity for the incumbent to take ownership of Chiropractic Australia's professional development training program to shape and drive it to its maximum potential.

Initial 12-month fixed-term contract with the opportunity to extend.
