The Social Media and Content Coordinator supports delivery of CEW’s communications and marketing strategy. You will work closely with team members across CEW to plan, produce and execute content for CEW brand-owned channels. The Coordinator will own day-to-day management of the new and improved CEW website (launching July 2022), CEW social channels, Member-only channels and CEW eDMs. This role will create content to engage and activate members and partners, amplify our thought leadership and showcase the terrific work of our sponsors and partners.

The Coordinator works in close collaboration with team members and stakeholders. It requires hands-on social media and content creation experience.

Key Responsibilities

In coordination with the Director, Media and Communications and CEW team

  • Day-to-day ownership CEW content calendar and brand channels, in line with CEW content strategy. This will include website, CEW social media channels, CEW Member-only Hub
  • Day-to-day management of CEW eDM scheduling and content development, including monthly newsletters and campaign focused communications
  • Content production, including writing eDMs, blog posts and social posts, as well as visual content production using tools like Canva
  • Analytics and reporting for digital channels
  • Support for CEW Events, including branding, collateral and distribution of event communications, and use of systems including ticketing as needed
  • Support delivery of CEW marketing and communications plans as needed

INDIVIDUAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Content planning and content creation for CEW digital channels. This will include writing and editing social posts, blog posts, website copy as well as creating visual content
  • Production and distribution of eDMs, including CEW’s monthly member newsletters, quarterly Connect newsletter, and sponsor communications
  • Support content production for flagship CEW events, including CEW Leadership Summit and CEW Annual Dinner
  • Data and analytics, optimisation of digital platforms
  • Develop other content (including collateral) as required
  • Contribute to Marketing and Communications planning

PERSON CHARACTERISTICS

  • Hands on, energetic team player, 2-5 years experience in similar role
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail, organised with a calm and planned approach
  • Comfortable operating in a policy and advocacy-focused environment
  • Strong knowledge of digital content creation and channels, including Canva, WordPress, Campaign Monitor, LinkedIn, Twitter and Hoot Suite.
  • Salesforce experience an advantage
  • Natural collaborator and relationship builder
  • Strong customer service orientation, ability to work with senior leaders
