Purpose of the role:

This role supports delivery of CEW’s communications and marketing strategy. You will work closely with team members across CEW to plan and implement marketing strategies to support key CEW programs and initiatives. This role will also have oversight of CEW brand.

This role works in close collaboration with team members and stakeholders, including CEW members. It requires strategic thinking and tactical delivery. Like everything we do at CEW, this role supports delivery of CEW’s mission: women leaders enabling women leaders.

Key skills/responsibilities:

In coordination with the Director, Communications and CEW team

  • Marketing lead for key CEW programs and initiatives, including:
    • The CEW Leaders Program, a bespoke development course for senior women leaders, which has undergone a transformation program. This role is responsible for the brand and marketing uplift for the Program to increase awareness and support program growth
    • CEW Summit, a new leadership conference that will take place in Melbourne in September each year
    • CEW Scholarships, our flagship program to enable women leaders through tailored scholarship opportunities
    • CEW Annual Dinner and other high profile CEW events
    • CEW Annual Review
  • CEW brand lead, developing and implementing brand practices to ensure consistency and easily identifiable CEW activity
  • Establish marketing planning and project delivery ways of working for all CEW programs and initiatives
  • Marketing effectiveness and measurement
  • Help plan and support sponsor communications and engagement plans
  • Provide exceptional member service, including occasional attendance at and support of Member events
  • Support delivery of CEW marketing and communications plans as needed

Individual accountabilities:

  • Marketing plan development and implementation for priority projects, contribution to program KPIs
  • Day-to-day management of CEW brand and assets, CEW marketing ways of working, marketing and communications effectiveness
  • Contribute to Marketing and Communications planning

Personal characteristics:

  • Hands on, energetic team player with initiative
  • Great communication skills, written and visual
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Strong marketing background across all channels, lead generation and business development support preferable
  • Natural collaborator and relationship builder
  • Strong customer service orientation, comfortable working with senior leaders
  • Uses software and systems for planning and delivery, comfortable with databases and marketing programs including Salesforce, Campaign Monitor and others
  • Comfortable operating in a policy and advocacy-focused environment

Key metrics:

  • Accurate and timely development and implementation of
    • Marketing plans for priority CEW programs and initiatives
    • Brand management
    • Implementation of new ways of working
  • Regular reporting of marketing and communications performance
  • Active engagement in the CEW Marketing and Communications plan.
