This role requires sound knowledge of business development principles, particularly in NFPs. It includes sponsor and client relationships and stewardship of key partnerships.

The initial focus is to further develop existing relationships and connections, before building out the range of CEW clients and sponsors. CEW is a not-for-profit organisation. Qualifications & experience

  • Degree qualified, most likely in Business Development/Marketing or similar
  • Minimum of six plus years’ business development experience, including in not-for-profit environments. Sponsorships and philanthropy exposure desirable.
  • Experience working to and exceeding targets for client income, sponsorship revenue and pro bono income
  • Must be an accomplished Salesforce user, including campaigns and reporting.
  • A strong, positive team player displaying resilience, adaptability and creativity. Ability to work collaboratively in a small team as well as self-motivate.
  • Highly organised, outstanding communicator and problem solver managing projects with strong attention to detail

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Contribute to CEW's mission to enable more women leaders by nurturing and developing client relationships, with a focus on enrolments in our Leaders Program.
  • Plan and execute business engagement activity including managing, retaining and leveraging existing relationships and opportunities within the CEW Member and client base to grow the uptake of core products and services.
  • Work with team members to commence and progress and finalise discussions with new and existing organisations about core CEW products and services to achieve the growth strategy. Develop strategies to grow and scale core products and services in new geographical areas and new market sectors.
  • Writing, delivering and closing business proposals. Researching business opportunities, competitor developments and viable income streams.
  • Owning, managing, analysing, and reporting on the performance of core products and services across the CEW Leaders Program, other leadership development offerings, sponsorships and pro bono opportunities
  • Use data including Salesforce to inform campaigns, stewarding and further developing key relationships
  • Working closely and collaboratively across the organisation to fully utilise the skills and experience of the CEW team in driving mission and growth.
