The Children’s Hospital Foundation works wonders for sick kids at the Queensland Children’s Hospital, all over Queensland and northern New South Wales. Through the generosity of our donors and key partners, we invest in world-class research, innovative clinical care, and deliver patient and entertainment services for sick kids and their families in a healing environment.

We are seeking a Fundraising Coordinator to join our dedicated and passionate Partnerships team. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to make your mark and do something special.

Reporting to the Head of Partnerships, you will support the Partnerships Team to maintain and grow the Children’s Hospital Foundation’s fundraising campaigns and events. It will be a busy and varied role that will see you:

  • Assist with the growth and retention of community and business fundraisers in order to grow Foundation income
  • Provide excellent stewardship to supporters through thank you calls, thank you letters, and certificates of appreciation acknowledging their contribution
  • Support the Partnerships Team by attending store visits at various partnerships venues
  • Support the Partnership Managers with coordinating all aspects of events such as the Channel 9 Telethon including development, planning, operations, and logistics
  • Undertake general administration tasks including raising purchase orders, completing Authority to Fundraise documentation, tracking invoices, and maintaining registers and the CRM database.

Who are you?

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:

  • Experience in support or administrative role within any fundraising team and/or similar industry;
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders;
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and provide support and coordination across a number of campaigns and events;
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines with high attention to detail, to work under pressure and establish priorities, with a commitment to quality outcomes and customer service;
  • Demonstrated administration skills, including being organised and detail orientated.
