What will you be doing?

Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications, you will be responsible for the implementation of the Foundation’s digital strategy and online management, managing engagement and interactivity with our audience, and fostering community spirit, developing and implementing integrated digital campaigns to donate or engage with the Foundation. Driving a digital fundraising culture within the organisation is a core component of the role.

Additionally, it will be a busy role that will focus on:  

  • Developing and implementing digital fundraising and marketing strategies that have a positive impact on results
  • Excellent understanding and demonstrated experience using digital marketing concepts and fundraising best practices
  • Demonstrated knowledge of data-driven marketing methods including marketing attribution methods, split-testing, audience segmenting, and user targeting
  • Integrating digital marketing into multi-channel marketing campaigns, including SEM, SEO, SMM, and other digital activities
  • Using marketing email systems and optimising email performance to increase engagement and conversions
  • Setting up, managing, and optimising Google Adwords campaigns and maximising SEO
  • Managing remarketing adverts via Facebook and Google
  • Analysing and producing reports on web analytics, direct marketing, feedback surveys, social media, and marketing dashboards
  • Managing and optimising Facebook advertising campaigns
  • Optimising landing pages and user funnels to increase conversions
  • Manage outsourced providers

Who are you?

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:

  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as Marketing or Fundraising or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/ training
  • At least 5 years’ experience working in a digital fundraising or marketing role or similar
  • Extensive knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics) to identify insights and drive fundraising outcomes
  • Excellent understanding and demonstrated experience using digital marketing concepts and fundraising best practices
  • Extensive experience managing websites using a CMS. Specific knowledge of WordPress is beneficial.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of data-driven marketing methods including marketing attribution methods, split-testing, audience segmenting, and user targeting.
  • Skills and experience in creative content writing, storyboarding, filming and editing (Photography skills are advantageous)
  • Advanced computer literacy skills e.g. MS Office Suite skills are necessary
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to understand varied audiences
  • Knowledge of Informz is advantageous but not essential
  • Certifications from industry bodies such as FIA are beneficial
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills and a flexible approach when working in a team.

This is a full-time, permanent role that will be based in South Brisbane. Part-time applications will also be considered.
