ABOUT CLEAR HORIZON

Clear Horizon is a world class, evaluation and social impact measurement firm that works domestically in Australia and internationally. For over 15 years we have been leaders in measurement, evaluation and learning (MEL), program evaluation, and social impact measurement. More recently we have incorporated digital and co-design methods into our ways of working. We increasingly work as developmental evaluators and leverage our strong roots in participatory and collaborative approaches. We aim to build capacity with our clients in all our work and this is enabled by our cutting-edge Academy.

Our mission is to power change makers to create positive impact on people, place and planet. We are a women-led, for purpose company and we make deliberate choices about who we work with to maintain our principles of social justice and environmental sustainability.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Currently the Academy is delivering a suite of five online public courses (and growing!) ranging in length from 4-15 weeks long which we deliver two times a year. We also offer customised in-house versions of these courses to our extensive list of government and not-for-profit clients. Our online learning offering aims to inspire and enable project managers, evaluators, designers, collaboration leads, entrepreneurs and more to evaluate and improve their impact.

As the Operations Coordinator your role is to lead the optimisation and automation of our business processes and systems including our learning management system. Your key responsibility is to create an efficient and seamless journey for our learners from enrolment, through to onboarding and engaging with our courses and into our Alumni community.

ABOUT YOU

You are highly motivated and suitably qualified to support a small team in the delivery of engaging learning experiences for our public and in-house course learners. To do this, you have excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills, you are confident in working autonomously or in a team environment, and you exercise effective and independent judgment. You are a self-starter who has the ability to start with, and champion a seed idea, through to implement of a new product, system or service. You also have exceptional organisational, planning and project management skills with eagle-eyed attention to detail and the ability to hit every deadline to budget. Preferably you have online learning management system (LMS) administration or at lease experience in administrating similar systems.  You are proficient in Microsoft 365 environment and it would be awesome if you have experience working in the adult learning and instructional/learning design sector with a background in administrating the delivery of online courses.
