Who are we?

Chargefox is committed to sustainable mobility. We're Australia's largest open, electric vehicle (EV) network for modern EV's. As part of that, Chargefox originally raised $17 million to build a network of ultra-rapid chargers to connect major cities across the country, but that's only a fraction of what we do. We have an unwavering focus on simplifying the EV charging experience for everyone - be they drivers, fleet managers, charge station owners, car manufacturers, energy retailers and more. Our customers can find, use, and pay for electric vehicle charging using their mobile phone.

We’re continually adding new stations to the Chargefox network. So far, we've processed over 250,000 charging sessions on more than 2200 plugs across Australia and New Zealand, dispensing a total of over 3.4 GWh of electricity. That's enough electricity to power the average household for four decades, and we're still growing fast.

About the role...

There’s a lot happening in the world of e-mobility right now and as the market leader, Chargefox is receiving high volumes of business enquiries via our call centre and website from a diverse range of site hosts and fleet operators.

We're looking for someone who is skilled and experienced in customer engagement, with the ability to utilise our Zendesk hub to support our customers by answering business queries promptly.

Working closely with the Business Development Manager you will develop a full understanding of the Chargefox platform and our service offerings, in order to accurately inform and recommend the EV charging and fleet solutions that add value to our customers' activities.

Providing engaging communications and relevant materials following initial calls - and where necessary an introduction to our national hardware/installer partners - is an essential part of the role.

We’re looking for an organised operator who can maintain accurate processes for the tracking of customer activities, and to provide timely customer follow up calls and emails as required.

You’ll also work closely with members of the Chargefox Operations and Technical teams to ensure the efficient onboarding of new customers and their services, setting up accounts and delivering a top-class customer experience

At Chargefox, we are big believers in a pragmatic and agile approach to our work. You will be participating in team rituals including stand-ups, retrospectives, and on-call support.
