Connect Health and Community provides a range of primary health and community services to people of all ages within the community.

The Paediatric Occupational Therapist will be part of a multi-disciplinary environment working in the Child Youth and Family Program, within the models of HACC and NDIS. This position will include individual comprehensive assessment and treatment for children up to the age of 18 years - including physical, social, cognitive, sensory and emotional skills and how they impact on the development movement, play and social skills. The work may involve the running of group programs and participation in a paediatric screening clinic.

We are looking for:

• Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent
• Minimum three years clinical experience as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist in a community setting
• Previous experience with NDIS or working in a private practice
• Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Ability to demonstrate current evidence based Occupational Therapist practice for the target population
• Ability to work with other organisations either in a consulting capacity or joint assessment and treatment capacity.
• Experience with TrakCare client management system.(highly desirable)

The period of employment will begin in February 2020 for 3.5 days per week until 30 June 2020. Salary and conditions as per Victoria Stand Alone Community Health Centres Allied Health professionals Enterprise Agreement 2017 – 2021.
