About the job:

The Health Team is committed to creating and delivering responses to population health needs with the local community. About you:

We are seeking an innovative, suitably qualified and experienced Health Promotion Specialist with a specific focus on child and maternal health. You will have experience working with First Nations communities and an understanding of the effects of colonisation, disempowerment and intergenerational trauma and a demonstrated commitment to social justice. To be successful in this position, you will have strong relationship, networking and communication skills - both verbal and written, have a collaborative approach and be a self-starter who thrives in an environment that is ambiguous and complex and thinks systemically. Ideally, you will be a First Nations person.
