Centrecare is ‘People Making Time for People’ and we are embarking on an exciting time involving undertaking the process of reviewing, refining, and innovating our existing Therapeutic Framework. The Project Officer’s main aim will be to review and ensure programs are delivered in accordance with Centrecare’s expectations and contractual requirements, which are embedded within the existing therapeutic framework and quality improvement system. Centrecare are looking for someone with an innovative, creative, and modern approach to best practice in the community services sector.

About the Role

Working closely and reporting to our General Manager this position is suited for someone who is an experienced social worker/project officer who is detailed orientated, analytical, organised and likes to engage and train staff. The aim of this role is to improve and enhance the services that we currently provide in the Western Australian community.

The key and overall impact of this position will be to:

  • Be a contributor and collaborate within the Therapeutic Framework working group to deliver on intiatives that reviews, enhances, and monitors a best practice therapeutic person centre approach to service delivery.
  • Reduce the administration of service intake and service delivery.
  • Contribute to the culture of continuous improvement, quality assurance and best practice service delivery for all people who use our services.

The exciting outcome of this project will see better counselling support, improved outcomes, and a more culturally inclusive framework for the WA community.

About you

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, or other related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated clinical case management and project management.
  • Specialist knowledge of community services and service delivery gained through experience, education, or training.
  • Understanding of the existing therapeutic framework and contract delivery requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, leading, and delivering training programs.
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills.
  • The ability to work effectively with key stakeholders, including senior management and achieve outcomes through influence.
  • Well-developed communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational skills with the capability to prioritise work.
