The Central Land Council (CLC) is a corporate Commonwealth entity established under the Aboriginal Land Rights (Northern Territory) Act 1976. The CLC represents traditional landowners, native title holders and other Aboriginal people across the southern half of the Northern Territory—an area of almost 780,000 square kilometres.
The CLC provides its constituents with advice, advocacy and practical assistance to support their aspirations, manage their land and realise and protect their rights.
We seek a qualified candidate for the position of:
Projects Officer – TS002– Alice Springs
As a key member of the Technical Services team, you will contribute to the delivery of facilities and building repairs, maintenance and capital works, procurement and project management, and services to maintain CLC buildings to a high functional level of performance.
Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, the Projects Officer is responsible for projects as assigned, including the scoping, procurement and oversight of works, including:
You will support maintaining the fixed assets register relating to building and other fixed assets, assist and respond to staff Helpdesk requests for facilities-related queries, and establish and effectively liaise with other operational sections in the CLC.
An Ochre Card (working with vulnerable people check) and a driver’s licence are mandatory requirements for all employees at the Central Land Council.

Total effective package includes base salary, district allowance, superannuation, leave loading, relocation assistance, annual airfare allowance and salary packaging options. Annual progression within the salary scale is subject to satisfactory performance. Progression is following annual increments set out in an enterprise agreement.
