The Centenary Institute is a world-leading independent Medical Research Institute. Our strength is in uncovering disease mechanisms and applying this knowledge to improve diagnostics and treatments for patients and find cures for some of the most chronic diseases affecting today’s society. We continue to build on our skills by focusing on and enlarging our research efforts in three key areas: cancer, inflammation and cardiovascular disease.
We are looking for an experienced Head of Communications and Engagement to join our Philanthropy and Communications team for parental leave contract to commence in October 2022 until June 2023.

The Head of Communications and Engagement will implement the Institute’s communications and engagement strategy to produce and promote content that raises awareness of the Institute, promoting an optimal brand and elevating its profile.
The Head of Communications and Engagement will have management responsibility for a team of three, with strategic and operational oversight of donor events and stewardship, media and communications and a digital strategy that leverages social media and web-based channels to engage with different audiences.
The successful candidate will have experience in marketing and communications at a senior level, with expertise in marketing, strategic communications, stakeholder relations, market research and analytics.
